Quality & testing

Purity claims are cheap. What matters is whether the number on the label came from an independent lab, and whether you can trace it back to the vial in your hand.

Where the material comes from

We source from established peptide synthesis facilities operating under ISO-9001 quality systems. Every incoming batch arrives with the manufacturer's own certificate — and we then ignore it, and test independently.

What we test, on every lot

  • Reverse-phase HPLC — quantifies purity against a reference standard. Our floor is 98%; the great majority of listed lots return 99%+.
  • Mass spectrometry — confirms the observed molecular weight matches the theoretical mass for the stated sequence. This is what catches a substituted or truncated peptide that would still look clean on HPLC alone.
  • Sterility screening — finished, sealed vials are checked for microbial growth.
  • Bacterial endotoxin — LAL testing on finished product.
  • Water content — Karl Fischer titration on lyophilised material, since residual moisture is the main driver of shelf-life loss.

A lot that misses spec on any of these is rejected. It does not get relabelled, blended down, or sold at a discount — it never enters inventory. That is the entire point of testing.

Lot traceability

Each vial carries a lot number in the format NP-ABBR###-####. Enter that number on the certificates page to pull the exact report for the material you received — not a representative sample, not last quarter's batch.

Handling and storage

  • Lyophilised peptides are stored at −20°C, protected from light, until the moment they're packed.
  • Temperature-sensitive lots ship with gel ice packs in an insulated mailer.
  • NAD+ and GHK-Cu ship in additional light-blocking packaging.
  • Bacteriostatic water is held and shipped at room temperature.

Storage once it reaches you

  • Unopened lyophilised vials — stable at −20°C. Short transit at ambient temperature does not meaningfully degrade lyophilised material.
  • After reconstitution — refrigerate at 2–8°C and protect from light.
  • Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles; they are the fastest way to lose potency.

If something is wrong

If a vial arrives cracked, unsealed, or visibly off, photograph it before opening anything else and email orders@nashpeps.com within 72 hours of delivery. We replace it. See shipping & returns for the full policy.

Research use only Analytical testing establishes identity and purity. It does not establish safety, efficacy, or fitness for any use in humans or animals — and nothing on this page should be read as suggesting otherwise. All Nashpeps materials are supplied for laboratory research only.
